A former Fellow of St Edmund's College, Cambridge, Joan is an American Benedictine nun living in Pennsylvania who is seen as one of the most influential religious leaders in the USA. For more than 50 years she's been a passionate lecturer and advocate for social justice, human rights, spiritual renewal in the Church, peace and issues that affect women in particular.
