This quote is from Stuart Higginbotham's chapter, 'A Primary Concern for Oneness: Contemplation and Leadership in Congregations', in Contemplation and Community: A Gathering of Fresh Voices for a Living Tradition (Crossroad Publishing, 2019), a collection of essays edited by Jessica M. Smith and Stuart Higginbotham. Stuart is an Episcopal priest in the USA, where he is rector of Grace Episcopal Church, Gainesville, Georgia. His writing and practice focuses on the intersection between contemplative practice, leadership development and congregational ministry. He writes a blog that addresses these areas, here. In 2021, Stuart published a new book, The Heart of a Calling: The Practice of Christian Mindfulness in Congregational Ministry (Crossroad Publishing, 2021), which you can find here.
