This quote is from Wendy Robinson's small but helpful pamphlet, Exploring Silence (SLG Press, 1974), 2 & 9. Wendy Robinson's booklet is one of an extensive series of guides about different forms of prayer published by the Sisters of the Love of God at the Convent of the Incarnation at Fairacres, Oxford, a contemplative Anglican religious community.the Convent's own press (see here). Others about silence in the series include Mother Mary Clare, SLG, Silence and Prayer, Sr Edmee, SLG, Silence in Prayer and Action, Kenneth Leech, Silence and Ministry: Three Reflections on the Role of Silence in Prayer, Conflict and Ministry. Today's author also contributed Sounding Stones: Reflections on the Mystery of the Feminine to the same series. Even though these texts were originally published a long time ago, all are still available at the SLG Press shop, here. SLG Press continues to operate and commission other booklets and pamphlets today and you can browse these at their shop. Most seem to be about the same length as those in Grove Booklets (about 22-25 pages).
