Rooted in the sources of Tess's own spiritual journeying, particularly the mystical traditions and earth-based spiritualities, this book introduces the Celtic festivals within the Christian calendar in a month-by-month format. Tess is an ordained Anglican priest who has worked as a psychiatric nurse, counsellor and hospital chaplain but now works as a freelance retreat leader and spiritual accompanist. She lives and works in Northumberland and has her own website, here. Tess has also written a book of Alternative Pastoral Prayers: Blessings and Liturgies for Health and Healing, Beginnings and Endings (Canterbury Press, 2011) - see here - and is currently writing a new book on nature and the spiritual journey.
