In Words from Silence we'll spend time with one poem over the evening. We'll begin by engaging with our poem individually in a guided Lectio Divina practice - more usually done with scriptural texts but also a lovely practice to use with poems or other reflective writing.
There will be a time for sharing as much or as little of our Lectio reflections as you'd like, followed by further discussion based around the poem, using this as a jumping off point to ponder our practice of silence and the wonderings we have about this spiritual discipline.

Words from Silence sessions will follow a format similar to this:
- A time of gathering
- 20 minutes of shared silence, in whatever practice is familiar to you
- Lectio Divina using a poem that conveys something about our engagement with silence
- Discussion about what our Lectio practice revealed
- Further exploration of the poem together

Each Words from Silence evening will be a stand-alone session.
You're welcome, whether to one, or all.
Hosted by Alison Woolley.
