From 1st September to 31st December 2025 I am taking a semi-sabbatical from Seeds of Silence. |
Seeds of Silence has been running since January, 2016. It has been a privilege to journey with you in exploring silence in this time.
At the close of this, its 10th year, I am taking some time away from Seeds of Silence (SoS) to complete an academic research project and present the research findings at the American Association of Religion conference in Boston, USA, in November.
During this time some SoS things will continue as usual, some will be a little different and some will pause for the rest of this year

Thank you for your interest and engagement in the things that Seeds of Silence offers, and for your understanding and patience that things aren't quite as usual whilst I take a small break.

- Lunchtime Silence Space: every Monday at 1pm
- Evening Silence Space: every first and third Monday at 6pm
- Quoting Silence: the weekly quote, but looking back to past months
- Voices from Silence: the first-Friday-of-the-month series
- Silence Forum: learning from one another about silence as a spiritual discipline
- Website: this will remain accessible but won't be updated
The following will pause:
- Words from Silence: exploring poetry and silence with Lectio Divina
- Silence Reading Group: monthly group reading & discussing a book on silence
- Seeds of Silence's annual Advent Calendar: a quote a day in Advent
